Maison Kitsuné unveiled their mens’s fall/winter 2011 collection today. The collection is titled and inspired by Ang Lee’s Brokeback Mountain. Check out what Maison Kitsuné has to say:
For the next fall the designer Masaya Kuroki choose to work on some heavy pieces, a worker style jacket, a cotton check shirt, a woolen hunter jacket, brushed cotton chino, a 6ply shawlcollar cardigan, a lambswool blanket… A modern and elegant version of outdoor style clothing, with beautifull fabrics from Limonta, Thomas Mason, 100th years celebration HarrisTweed, Kuroki’s denim and a very prestigious knitting from Corgi!

The 10th addition to Kitsuné’s Maison Compilation is probably their most ambitious yet. Their 2 disc (25 track) compilation dubbed the Fireworks issue features new tracks from all of our favorites. The tracks by Clock Opera, Two Door Cinema Club, Digitalism, Yelle, The Aikiu, Strange Talk (and more) all hit the internet today when the compilation leaked.
Grab some tracks below, including The Twelves remix of Me & Madonna by Black Stobe (which I absolutely adore) and Clock Opera’s beautiful Once And For All. The album will be released digitally next week (November 15th) and physically on November 29th. (Christmas present, hint hint.) Chex the track list here, and if you’re super impatient (like I) google around the internets for a leak.

Kitsuné’s Masion Compilation 10 Fireworks features some of our favorites, Yelle, Beatacue, Digitalism, Punks Jump Up, The Aikiu, Clock Opera and of course Two Door Cinema Club. Mustang remixes Two Door Cinema Club’s What You Know for the compilation not only once, but twice. The mix labeled ‘The Right Version Remix’ is most likely the version we’ll see on the compilation, but the second version is good enough to stand up on it’s own. Grab both of them below.
Kitsuné presents their 10th Maison Compilation minimix, mixed by JBAG. The 2 disc extravaganza will get a second mini mix next week. They also put together a video teaser of the album, check it out on the Kitsuné blog. You can find the full track list over here.
Kitsuné’s Clock Opera is offering up their October mix to celebrate the release of their new single Once And For All which is out today on Kitsuné. Pick up the October mix below, and grab the EP on Kistuné. It includes remixes by Little Loud and Clive Tanaka.
Familiarize yourself with the new Melbourne band Strange Talk. Not only do they have a track on the new Kitsuné compilation, Kitsuné Maison Compilation #10, but said song is amazing. Climbing Walls is a synth pop, similar to other Aussie bands, Cut Copy, Bag Raiders and Ladyhawke but its still very refreshing. You can grab your free download over on Strange Talk Music.com, their minimal (to say the least) official site. Preview it below for good measure.
